Solution

A cryptogam is a plant or a plant-like organism that reproduces by spores, without flowers or seeds.

E.g. Thallophyta, bryophyta and pteridophyta.

Plants which have specialized structures for reproduction and produce seeds are called phanerogams.

E.g. Gymnosperms and angiosperms.
