Open in App
Solution

As we know, vibration is nothing but a movement where the object moves back and forth.

  1. There are two types of vibration: one is forced vibration and other is free vibration.
  2. Damped vibration is a subtype of force vibration.
  3. In case of damp vibration, the energy of a vibrating system is gradually dissipated by friction and other resistances.
  4. In such a case, the motion of the system is stopped due to the resistance produced by the external force.
