1. Dendrites are finger-like cells that are located at the end of a neuron and consist of Nissl granules and neurofibrils.
2. The dendrites gather the information that further travels as an electrical impulse towards the cell body of a neuron.
3. These are short and tapering branches that are not enclosed by any sheath.
