The difference between colloid and suspension is as follows:-

Colloid

Suspension

1. The particles of colloid can not be seen by the naked eye due to their smaller size.1. The particles of suspension can be seen without the help of a microscope.
2. They settle down under high centrifugation. As a result, the colloid is quite stable.2. The solute particle settles down when a suspension is left undisturbed. So, the suspension is unstable.
3. Colloids can not be separated from the mixture by the process of filtration.3. Suspension can be separated out from the mixture by the process of filtration.
