What are endogenic and exogenic forces? With example.

Dear Student,

Endogenic forces- The forces which act in the interior of the earth are called as Endogenic forces. This force sometimes produce sudden movements and at the other times produce slow movements. So it is of two types -
1) Sudden forces, eg. Earthquake, Volcano and Landslides
2) Diastrophic forces, eg. Building Mountains
Exogenic forces- The forces that work on the surface of the earth are called as Exogenic forces.It has Erosional and Depositional process,eg River, Wind, Sea-Waves,Glaciers.
