Solution

Enzymes are protein molecules. They increase the rate of chemical reaction without being consumed. As a catalyst facilitates the same chemical reaction over and over again, they accelerate chemical reactions over and over again. Enzymes are classified by a complex system based on the IUB system. According to IUB system, they are classified into 6 classes:
1. Oxido-reductase- Alcohol Dehydrogenases
2. Ligases- Succinate thiokinase
3. Transferases - Phosphorylases
4. Hydrolases -Lipase
5. Lyases- Aldolase
6. Isomerases- Phosphatase Isomerase
