Feminist Movement-
Throughout the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries women and non-propertied men organised opposition movements demanding equal political rights. The issue of extending political rights to women was a controversial one within the liberal movement, in which large numbers of women had participated actively over the years. Women had formed their own political associations, founded newspapers and taken part in political meetings and demonstrations.
They work for right and equality of women in different aspects like right to voting, right to take divorce, right to remarry, right to education, right to live, equal pay for women, workplace right, protection from domestic violence, sexual harassment, abuse etc.
