Solution:
Fundamental duties were introduced in the constitution through the 42nd Amendment Act passed in 1976, as it was felt that as citizens had rights, they ought to have duties as well.
Some of the fundamental duties enshrined in the constitution are
To abide by the constitution and respect its ideals, institutions, the national flag and the national anthem.
To uphold and protect the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India
To defend the country and perform national services if and when the country requires
To promote harmony and brotherhood amongst all the people of India and renounce any practices derogatory to women
To cherish and preserve the rich national heritage of our composite culture
