Neuroglia cells or referred as glial cells present in nervous tissue. Glial cells are non conducting supporting cells of nervous system which provide nutritional support and insulation to the neurons present in central and autonomous nervous system. The three types of glial cells in the mature central nervous system are astrocytes, oligodendrocytes and microglial cells.
