What are heterogeneous and homogeneous mixtures? Give examples.

Solution

The heterogeneous mixture is a mixture made up of different substances that are not uniformly distributed in it. Eg: salt and sand mixture.

In a homogenous mixture the components are uniformly distributed and cannot be distinguished by naked eyes. Eg: salt solution.
