  3. Epithelial cells build the tissue's outer coating and protect it from wear and strain.
  4. Muscular cells aid in muscle contraction, which allows for movement.
  5. Secretory cells differentiate into glands that produce hormones. Hormones are in charge of sustaining growth and development.
  6. Adipose cells create adipose tissue, which aids in fat storage.
  7. Blood cells are the building blocks of fluid connective tissue. RBC, WBC, and platelets are the three kinds of blood cells.
