Solution
Hydrathodes:
The holes present at the leaf margin where vascular supply ceases are known as hydathodes.
These are found in angiosperms.
They are connected through intercellular gaps and xylem to release water droplets. It is termed guttation.
Hydathodes are usually present at the tip of the marginal tooth.
In arid habitats, Hydathodes are found in both submerged aquatic plants and herbaceous plants.
Because of their structural resemblance to stomata, they are called as water stomata.
