1) The compounds which contain C are generally organic compounds. They are recognized by the presence of C and H. The living organism mainly are made of organic compounds which on burning gives carbondioxide and water.
example: methane, ethane..
2)All other compounds except for organic compounds are called inorganic compounds eg. O2, CO2, SO2, H2O, etc.
Compounds can also be classified into molecular and complex compounds.
3)A molecular compound can be defined as a compound where the atoms share electrons through covalent bonds. It is also known as a covalent compound. The covalent bonds are what hold the molecule together. When atoms share electrons, they are able to have a full outer electron shell.
eg:H2O, NH3 ....
4) In chemistry, a coordination complex consists of a central atom or ion, which is usually metallic and is called the coordination centre, and a surrounding bound molecules or ions, that are in turn known as ligands or complexing agents.
