Isotopes: Atoms of the same element having same atomic number and the same chemical properties but differ only in mass are known as isotopes. For example, C612and C614.

Isobars: The atoms of different elements having the same mass number but different atomic numbers are called isobars. For example, Ca2040 and Ar1840.

The two isotopes of chlorine are Cl1735and Cl1737.
