  2. Kharif crops are usually sown with the beginning of the first rains in July, during the south-west monsoon season.
  3. So, particularly these crops are harvested in September-October.
  4. Example: Paddy, maize, jawar, bajra, tur, moong, urad, cotton, jute, groundnut and soybean.
