What are magnetic properties of manganate and permanganate ion(para or dia)?

Dear Student,

Both Manganate & permanganate have tetrahedral structures but, manganate has 1 unpaired electron. So, it is paramagnetic while permanganate has no unpaired electron, which makes it diamagnetic.
