What are male and female parts of the flower? Explain.

In many plants, flowers are referred to as the reproductive parts. The flowers consists of male reproductive structures called stamens and a female reproductive structure called pistil. Stamen consists of two parts- anther and filament. Pistil consists of three parts- stigma, style and ovary. Sexual reproduction in plants takes place with the help of these reproductive structures.
