Blossom Shower

Loo
- Oppressing, Dry, and Hot winds blowing with high intensity between Delhi and Patna.
- These winds usually blow from Punjab to Bihar in the Northern Plains.
Nor Westers
- These are massive evening thunderstorms in Assam and Bengal.
- These showers are useful for rice, jute, and tea cultivation.
- ‘Bardoli Chheerha’ is the name of these storms in Assam.
- They are showers in the month of Baisakh. Due to the notorious nature of these storms they are known as Kalbaisakhi.
