Solution

The morphologically and genetically alike individuals are called clones. Clones are obtained from asexual reproduction. Asexual reproduction is a type of reproduction in which young ones/offsprings are produced by a single parent with or without the involvement of gamete formation. Here the offspring is exactly similar to the parental type or the clone of the parental type. The individual produced are exact copies of each other and their parents because the new organisms produced inherit all of its chromosomes from one parent. Moreover, it involves only mitotic division. So, these organisms are called clones.
