Natural forces
- The term "force" refers to the external energy that is provided to a body in order to alter or produce the state of motion of the body.
- Natural forces are those that exist in nature as a result of natural occurrences occurring and not as a result of any external causes. Or, occurrences that take place in the environment as a result of nature and which are not within human control.
There are four natural forces that exist in nature
- Gravitational force: The gravitational force is the force of attraction between any two bodies.
- Electromagnetic force: Magnetic and electric fields produce a force that is known as the electromagnetic force.
- Weak nuclear force: It is the mechanism of interaction between subatomic particles that is responsible for the radioactive decay of atoms
- Strong nuclear force: The strong nuclear force is the name given to the nuclear force that holds subatomic particles together and cancels out nuclear interactions.
