Solution
Ohm's law
Ohm’s law states that the voltage across a conductor is directly proportional to the current flowing through it, provided all physical conditions and temperatures remain constant.
Georg Simon Ohm, a German physicist was the first to verify Ohm’s law experimentally.
Ohmic devices:
Ohmic devices are those that obey Ohm's law.
Resistors and wires are two examples.
In this graph between current and voltage is a straight line.
Non-Ohmic devices:
Non-ohmic devices are those that do not obey Ohm's law.
Vacuum tubes and thermistors are two examples.
In this graph between current and voltage is not a straight line.
