Olfactory lobes:

  1. Olfactory lobes are a pair of club-shaped small lobed bodies.
  2. These are present on the ventral side of the brain (on the inferior surface of the cerebrum).

Function:

The main function of olfactory lobes is to transmit the sense of smell received by the olfactory receptors, i.e. the olfactory epithelium present in the nasal cavity.
