Reserved Forests:These are the protected forests acquired and owned by the government of India.
Protected forests:These are also acquired by government of India but there main difference from reserved forests is that is some permission for grazing and hunting for the people living at the fringes of the forest.
Unclassed Forests:These are the forests which are owned by government as well by the private individuals or any community.
