Solution

Reversible change:-Changes that can return to their original form by reversing the conditions are called reversible changes.

Examples of reversible changes are the glowing of an electric bulb, stretching of a rubber band, ploughing of a field, melting of wax, dissolving sugar into water, and vaporization of water.

(1) The vaporization of water is a reversible change because water converting into steam at 100°C can be reversed into the water on cooling.

(2) On the other hand, the burning of paper is not a reversible change because once the paper gets burnt it cannot be brought back to its original state, therefore it is not a reversible change.

Answer: The vaporisation of water is a reversible change.
