The tiny pores present in the lower surface of the leaves are called stomata.
FUNCTIONS-
1)During photosynthesis,carbondioxide is taken in and oxygen is released . Whereas during respiration oxygen is taken in and carbondioxide is released.
2)Excess of water is released which is called transpiration.
