Dear Student
Allergies occur due to an inappropriate immune response to a normally harmless substance.
Most common allergens are dust, pollen, and nuts.
Common symptoms of allergy: Allergens can cause puffy and red eyes, sneezing, shortness of breath, vomiting, etc.
One of the serious allergic reaction is anaphylaxis which can be life-threatening.
Anaphylaxis causes immune system to release a flood of chemicals that causes shock, sudden drop
in blood pressure and sometimes blocks breathing.
