  2. Some of the taxonomical aids include Herbarium, Catalogue, Manual, Keys, Zoological park, Biological museum, etc.

Significance :

  1. Taxonomic aids help to store and preserve information as well as specimens.
  2. Taxonomic aids provide the complete identification, naming, and classification of organisms using actual specimens collected from the field or preserved as referrals in the herbarium, museums, etc.
  3. A new species can be examined while relating it to living plants or animals preserved in Botanical gardens, Zoological parks, etc.
