Hydrogen (H):

  • In our cosmos, hydrogen is the element or chemical component that is most prevalent. It accounts for 90% of all atoms.

  • The most common form of hydrogen is a gas, which is colourless and odourless but combustible.
  • Since it makes up around 75% of all ordinary stuff, hydrogen is the most prevalent chemical in the universe.

Properties of Hydrogen:

  • It can be found in practically all living organisms' molecules, including water.
  • The diatomic gas hydrogen is extremely flammable.
