The formed elements include red blood cells white blood cells and platelets.
The blood is responsible for the transport of materials and gases.
They are also responsible for carrying the waste away from the body tissue and transporting it to the excretory system.
Mucus: is a sticky substance that is produced on some surfaces of the body and contains enzymes proteins and antibodies that are responsible for protecting against pathogens
Saliva: is produced by the salivary glands in the body and is responsible for enabling the mastication of food materials.
