The eight components of communication are:
- Source - The source is the person or object which sends the message or information.
- Message - It is the information shared through communication.
- Channel - It is the way by which a message travel between the source and receiver.
- Receiver - It is the person or object at the receiving end which receives the message and analyses it.
- Feedback - It is composed of messages the receiver send backs to the source.
- Environment - It is the atmosphere, physical and psychological through which the message is sent.
- Context - It corresponds to the cause by which the message is sent
- Interference - It is anything that blocks or changes the source's intended meaning of message.
