What are the advantages and disadvantages of sky wave propogation ?

Advantage :
1) Information (signal )can be send to large distance
2) It uses reflective property of ionosphere
3) Un affected during propagation by atomspheric condition
4) Simple mode of propagation .
Disadvantage :
1) Required large antennas
2) Required large power for transmission
3) limited frequency range of propagation
