Dear student,
All the interacting organisms in an area together with non-living constituents of the environment constitute an ecosystem.
The two basic components of an ecosystem are:-
1. Biotic component- Biotic components of an ecosystem include living organisms like animals, plants, fungi and many more such organisms that shape up the environment.
2. Abiotic component- Abiotic components of an ecosystem include temperature, air- currents, minerals and many more such components which constitute the non-living components of the environment.
Thanks and regards.
