What are the cathode rays and how can v see them

Dear student,
A cathode ray is a beam of electrons in a vacuum tube travelling from the negatively charged electrode at one end to the positively charged electrode at the other, across a difference between the electrodes.

These rays are not visible but they can be estimated by ther actions.
