Water pollution:

  1. Water pollution is defined as any alteration in the physical, chemical, or biological properties of water.
  2. It is caused by human activities.

Causes of water pollution:

  1. many things pollute water, such as dumping anything into it.
  2. It causes water pollution.
  3. Toxic, caustic, and reactive industrial waste are all possibilities.
  4. This trash, if not adequately managed, can have serious health and environmental effects.
  5. Sewage is a type of wastewater that contains feces, urine, and other household waste.
  6. Dirt, soap, food, grease, and bodily wastes go down the drain as household trash causes water pollution.
  7. It is also caused by underground storage leaks, pesticides, animal waste, and intensive farming.

Reduction of water pollution:

  1. Dumping waste in rivers is one of the most common sources of water contamination. It should be stopped.
  2. Septic tanks may leak into bodies of water if they are not properly cleared and maintained. we need to do a regular check on that.
  3. Clean up the yard regularly.
  4. Cooking grease and oil should never be poured down the drain since they clog them.
