granulocytes (neutrophils, eosinophils, and basophils) and
agranulocytes (lymphocytes and monocytes). They help fight against
various disease-causing germs entering the body.
Thrombocytes are cell
fragments produced from megarkaryocytes of the bone. They play a
major role during blood coagulation.
