  1. They have 47 chromosomes instead of 46.
  2. There is one extra X-chromosome(44+XXY)
  3. The cells in their interphase stage have one Barr body.
  4. Persons with this disorder are sterile males.
  5. Symptoms of Klinefelter syndrome are undeveloped testes, sparse body hair, feminine pubic hair, and some degree of breast development.
  6. Other symptoms that show up include long limbs, knock knees, and mental retardation.
