  • It is capital intensive due to the long duration of crops, use of scientific methods, exportable production, and processing.
  • Advanced technology is used for planting and harvesting. That is, this method is both capital and labour-intensive.
  • This type of agriculture is practised in India and other south Asian countries, Africa, and South and Central America.
