7. Time period is the time taken to complete one vibration.
8. If T is the time period of any wave, then the number of vibrations in one second will be $\frac{1}{\mathrm{T}}$which is equal to frequency.
9. So $\mathrm{f}=\frac{1}{\mathrm{T}}\mathrm{or}\mathrm{T}=\frac{1}{\mathrm{f}}$
10. Thus, frequency and time period are reciprocal to each other.
