Development goals would imply one's desire, aspiration to attain. It implies what development would mean to us and what is our ultimate objective which we are trying to attain by virtue of which can bring about development of my personality, my family.

The common developmental goals of a nation could be the following:

  • increasing literacy rates
  • lower infant mortality rate
  • increasing life expectancy rate
  • higher rates of employment
  • equal treatment and respect from others.
  • safe and health environment to live
  • to have regular source of income, which are required by an individual to get his basic necessities of food, clothing , shelter
