Blood is a liquid, which has cells of various kinds suspended in it. Main components of blood are:
- Plasma: The fluid part of the blood is called plasma.
- Red Blood Cells: They contain a red pigment called haemoglobin.
- White Blood Cells: They help to fight against germs that may enter our body.
- Platelets: They help the blood to clot.
