What are the difference you may found in occupational structure of a developed country and a developing country? Check India's development trend with respect to its occupational structure.

In occupational structure of developed country, there is high proportion of people in secondary and tertiary sector activities.
In developing countries, high proportion of people are engaged in primary sector activities.
In India about 64% of population is engaged in agricultural sector and only 13% and 20% population is dependent on secondary and tertiary activities. In recent times, there has been shift in occcupational structure of India's economy. Proportion of people in secondary and tertiary sector activities has been increasing because of growing industrialisation and urbanisation.
