What are the differences between aerobic and anaerobic respiration? Name some organisms that use the anaerobic mode of respiration.
Aerobic respiration
The cellular respiration process that takes place in the presence of O2 gas is known as aerobic respiration.
Anaerobic respiration
The cellular respiration process that happens without the presence of O2 is known as anaerobic respiration.
