SIMPLE DIVISION OF LABOUR

1. It is a system in which each individual takes up one specific job depending upon his ability and aptitude such as carpenter, dentist, etc.

2. The individual is responsible for the whole job.

3. The worker remains less skilled.

COMPLEX DIVISION OF LABOUR

1. In this system, the total work is divided into many small steps or processes. An individual is assigned a job according to his aptitude and qualifications . for example. teacher of Economics.

2. Job is divided among many persons.

3. The worker becomes more skilled.
