Asexual reproduction is the mode of reproduction in which genetic material is not exchanged and the offsprings are the exact copy of parent known as clones. Plants use mainly three types of sexual reproduction and are as follows:-
Budding:- The process of in which bud is growing as a whole plant and is best observed in potato.
Vegetative propagation:- The vegetative part of plants involves in the formation of new plant and can be from root, stem, and leaves. In strawberry, the stem is able to grow the whole plant when provided with an accurate condition.
Fragmentation:-The method in which the plant split into and both the parts are able to grow new plants and are observed in Marchantia.
