Stakeholder:

A stakeholder is a person or organization who has an interest in a particular business.

  1. People nearby forest use forest resources for timber, firewood, and other purposes for their livelihood. They are mainly the tribal living in and around the forest and collect wood, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and bamboo for sustaining their life. They also protect the forest from pollution and exploitation.
  2. The forest department under the Government operation is the owner of the forest land and they are responsible for the proper usage of forest resources.
  3. For industries, the forest is the source of raw materials. They over-exploit the resources and do not think about conservation.
  4. The ecological conservationists help to conserve the forest resources and wildlife. They are not dependent on forest resources. The local people and tribes work together with ecological conservationists to protect the forests.
