What are the different types of fractures seen in limbs of a person?

The different type of fractures which can be seen in the limbs of a person are:
1. Simple: The bone may be broken completely of partially without any other tissue injury.
2. Compound: The bone breaks completely. It breaks and comes out, this damages the tissues and results in bleeding.
3. Complicated: Along with complete fracture of the bone the tissue of internal organs and blood vessels are damaged.
4. Communicated: The bone is broken from many points.
5. Impact: The broken ends of the bones fuse and insert into one other.
6. Greenstick: The bone bends due to fracture but does not break.
