Answer:
There are three different types of migration,
  1. Immigration and emigration,
  2. rural – urban migration
  3. urban – urban migration.
1. Immigration is the process of people coming from elsewhere into another country to settle.
For Example: A student coming from Nepal to India foe doing his master’s degree.
Emigration is the process of people leaving their country and moving out to new places.
For Example: A student leaving India to Germany for pursuing his career in nursing.
2. Rural – Urban migration is the movement of people from rural areas to urban towns/cities of the same country.
Paru left from the village of Durgapur which is a rural area to Noida, an urban center.
3. Urban – Urban migration is the movement of people from urban areas to other urban towns/cities of the same country.
Hemanth Moving from Mumbai to Hyderabad due to transfer of jobs and cost of living is an example of urban – urban migration.
