What are the different types of soil

there are mainly 3 types of soils-

1. clayey soil- they have very small particles. water and air hardly pass through this soil. so it is used to make pots. usually not suitable for plants.

2. sandy soil-they have big particles. they are found in deserts. water drains through very quickly through this soil. it is only suitable for plants like cactus.

3. loamy soil-it is a mixture of sandy and clayey soil. it is most suitable for the growth of garden plants. they have neither too big nor too small particles. so water and air are present/passing in sufficient amount.
