Turner syndrome:

  1. Turner syndrome is a condition that affects only women, resulting when one of the X chromosomes is fully or partially missing.
  2. Some of its symptoms include facial features such as drooping eyelids, narrow palate, small jaws and low-set prominent earlobes, irregular growth, delayed puberty, short stature, etc.

The different types of Turner syndrome are as follows

  1. Mosaic Turner syndrome: Mosaic Turner syndrome is a condition in which cells inside the same person have different chromosome packages.
  2. Classical Turner syndrome: An X chromosome is completely missing in classical turner syndrome.
