  2. Individuals with O-negative blood generally have higher levels of stomach acid and are more likely to be exposed to medical conditions such as ulcers.
  3. Individuals of the O-negative blood group suffer from inflammation from foods such as dairy products and wheat.
  4. This causes an imbalance in the person's immune system and is responsible for weight gain.
  5. Overactive immunity increases the risk of thyroid disease in type O-negative blood.
  6. Although it is a universal donor, you can only get a donor with O-negative blood if you are O-negative.
